Kyle L. Barron is an MA/PhD student in the English department, specializing in rhetoric and composition. He’s particularly interested in the rhetoric of science, ecocriticism, urban ecology, and science writing. His other interests include writing center studies, literacy studies, writing across the curriculum (WAC), translingualism, and technical writing. Kyle serves as Assistant Director of the UConn Writing Center and also works as a writing instructor for First-Year Writing; prior to that he worked as a technical writer and illustrator.
