It’s almost time for the 2nd annual Aetna Celebration of Student Writing (ACSW) and the submission form for poster proposals is now open!
SUBMIT POSTER PROPOSALS HERE BY MONDAY, APRIL 1!
UConn students are encouraged to submit research projects they have completed for writing intensive courses (“W”courses, First-Year Writing courses, etc). Students can also present posters that showcase research on writing, rhetoric, or a related topic. A panel of judges will award prizes for the posters on the day of the event.
This year, the ACSW will take place on Tuesday, April 30 and will be followed by the release party of the 2019 issue of the Long River Review, UConn’s student-run literary and art magazine! Both events are open to the public and will take place in the North Reading Room of the Wilbur Cross Building (Storrs campus):
A dozen awards for the Poster Fair and a large number of other Aetna Chair writing awards announced: Creative Nonfiction; Fiction; Poetry; Writing in the Humanities; Writing in the Social Sciences; Writing in the Science; First-Year Writing; Graduate Critical Writing, etc.
